Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Dr. James P. Muir resides in the Carrollwood area with his wife and daughter. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan. He then served four years in the U.S. Navy. He completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Camp Lejeune North Carolina. His second tour of duty was at Naval Station Great Lakes where he worked in oral surgery and the endodontic department. Dr. Muir continues his education by attending numerous seminars and trainings. His practice opened October 2007 and is state of the art with digital x-rays and the most advanced, complete, and comfortable care.

Raised in Odessa, Raven, a Registered Dental Hygienist is a graduate of Sickles High School. Following high school, Raven started as a dental assistant and found she had a passion for dentistry. She returned to school where she obtained her hygiene license from St Petersburg College School of Dental Hygiene.

Heather was born in Wisconsin and moved to Florida when she was very young. She was raised in the Orlando area and in her home town she first started working in dentistry. Now, 13 years later she lives in Tampa and still enjoys working as a dental assistant. She especially enjoys calming patients who are fearful of receiving dental treatment. In her spare time she enjoys many hobbies such as traveling, volunteer work, and spending quality time with family.

Colleen's personality is matched by her radiant smile. She is always here to offer you a warm welcome and introduce you to the friendly surroundings of our facility. Colleen is our insurance expert and can help you understand your insurance benefits. Here at Citrus Park Dental we don’t allow your insurance to decide your quality of care; however, we do use it to help offset the cost of keeping you healthy. Colleen is a native to Tampa and attended grade school, high school, and college locally.

Jacalyn is Colleen’s side kick and the two are often found in the front office chatting with patients. Here at Citrus Park Dental we want you to feel warm, welcome and part of the family. We know choosing a dentist is a big decision and we want to get to know each and every person in our practice. Jacalyn can also explain to you, your insurance benefits and treatment that Dr. Muir has diagnosed. Jacalyn, a graduate of USF is also a native to Tampa and many years ago, attended Citrus Park Elementary School located next door to our office.

Renee Leuci- Raised in Rochester NY, moved to the Tampa area to pursue her career as a Dental Assistant. Renee has been assisting for the past 6 years after earning her degree. She enjoys giving patients the care they deserve and helping fearful patients feel more comfortable. She likes meeting new people and is glad to be part of the team here at Citrus Park Dental.
